The Kilbirnie shopping centre offers a variety of shops, cafes and supermarkets and is just two minutes away, with the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre just one minute from the Hotel. The Hotel is two minutes from a regular bus service running to the railway station and WestpacTrust Stadium. A relaxing game of golf is only three minutes away at the Miramar Golf Club, and of course , the Basin Reserve is always popular for sporting events and is just five minutes away.
The Brentwood Hotel offers a total of 116 accommodation rooms. Room types include twin (some with two queen beds ), double, triple and quad rooms, all with full size beds -no roll aways or pull out beds. We also have some interconnecting rooms, allowing privacy to family groups. The Brentwood Hotel also has the most accessable rooms of any hotel in Wellington, with easy access and accessible bathrooms to accommodate individual guests or teams attending sporting events. All rooms are non smoking. However, all downstairs rooms open out to a small courtyard where smoking is permitted. Sky/Saturn cable channels are installed in each room, with a large screen situated in our lounge bar area for guests viewing. Our executive chef Glenn Curphey joined the team from the Carlton Hotel in Auckland. NZ trained with extensive overseas experience, Glen brings consumate professionalism to the kitchen team of the Brentwood Hotel.
From the outset we sought to distance ourselves from the standard atmosphere of most hotel restaurants. Creative Interior design along with a fine selection of food and wine emphasize our commitment to the industry. Our friendly and efficient staff are employed for their genuine Kiwi approach.
Our current menu has a strong Mediterranean bias with selected Asian influences.
