This is our small homely hostel that is only 2 mins walk from the town centre, beach and in a quiet location. The lodge is situated to take advantage of the great views of the Kaikoura coastline as well the Kaikoura Mountain range and in most cases you don’t have to leave your room. Dolphin Lodge also has a large deck for great summer afternoons relaxing and enjoying the magnificent views.
Here at Dolphin Lodge we have three Dorm rooms. Each room accommodates the following: One Dorm accommodates up to four (4) guests One Dorm accommodates up to five (5) guests One Dorm accommodates up to six (6) guests We are able to provide bedding for the Dorm rooms on request, however you are welcome to use your own. Dolphin Lodge also has available four (4) double rooms one of which has an ensuite. These are perfect for those wanting a little more privacy. All double r ooms are fully made up. We have a number of facilities available here at Dolphin lodge that are available free of charge to all guests. These include Outdoor Spa Pool Bikes Barbeque Tennis and Squash rackets TV Lounge/Video Library Hammocks in the garden Private garden We also have coin operated laundry facilities and e-amil available for all guests. All our rooms are cleaned daily so if you’re staying for more than one night you will always return from your day to a clean room.
We don’t provide meals but do provide a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven and microwave..
We are 2 mins from town where you have a great range of restaurants to choose from and to suit all budgets.
