Airport Christchurch Motel is the most modern and has the highest Qualmark rating (Four Star plus) of any motel in the Airport area. Motels are self-contained which means you are able to cook for yourself if you so wish as all units have their own facilities. We are not on any flight path, are in a quiet residential street and our extremely quiet units have been designed with both corporate and family travellers in mind with the complex being made up of ten studio, three 1 bedroom and two 2 bedroom apartments providing affordable, luxury Non-smoking accommodation. You are assured of a very warm welcome and a great nights sleep in either our king or super-king beds. Many of our guests have made comments such as "the best beds we have slept in' or "slept better than in our bed at home". Very close to Christchurch International Airport but very quiet and we are on what is a mainly residential street. Our standard rates include courtesy airport pickup and drop off if required which we operate ourselves between 6am and 9.30pm. Just off State Highway 1 to head either North or South of Christchurch and also very close to State Highway 73 if heading to the West Coast. Only minutes from the city centre with a bus stop to the city right at the gate and one to the beach just 100 metres away. Adjacent to a world class golf course (with 8 other courses within 20 minutes drive). Very close to a wide range of rental car and campervan companies. Just a few minutes from Canterbury University, the College of Education and Riccarton Racecourse Adjacent to the Canterbury Technology Park in Sir William Pickering Drive. Jellie Park Aquatic Centre just 5 minutes by car.
All units have been fitted out to a very high standard and feature such amenities as double glazing for both warmth and quietness, underfloor heating, DVD players, Sky TV - even the bathroom mirrors are heated to prevent them fogging up. All units have their own kitchen facilities with the Two Bedroom Apartments and two of our One Bedroom Apartments having full kitchens which include dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and oven as well as Stereo systems in the lounge. Both two-bedroom apartments and one of our one-bedroom units, our honeymoon suite, have spa baths. All our double beds are either king or super king and we receive many compliments about the comfort of our beds. We offer Broadband internet access if you have your own laptop and charges for use are very reasonable. Dial-up access is also available but as time on-line is charged as per a telephone call, this can be more expensive than Broadband.
We offer both cooked and continental breakfasts with the continental being delivered the night before to enable you to have breakfast at a time convenient to you. Cooked breakfasts can be delivered at your choice of time between 7am and 9.30am.
We have 2 excellent restaurants close to the motel and we are happy to provide transport to these if required. There also numerous Delivery options available e.g. Pizza, Indian, Thai and we have a range of Ready to eat meals, drinks and snacks available at Reception.
